Zound strengthens retail presence in the US

Zound Industries has announced a large scale merchandising expansion with Best Buy, a leader of technology products, services and solutions. This will be the first time Marshall products will be available at and all Best Buy store locations throughout the US.

“It’s great to see that we are strenghtening our partnership with BestBuy. It’s a testament to our current product offering and our product roadmap, as well as the engagement from our US team”, said Pierre Carlson, Chief Commercial Officer, Zound Industries.

This latest development builds on Zound’s success in the US over the last couple of years. Between 2017 and 2019, the business grew by almost 40% to 288 MSEK in total, making the US Zound’s single biggest market.

“We have great momentum in the US market, especially with the Marshall brand. BestBuy is a leader in the consumer electronics business and this expansion will help to continue our momentum and grow brand awareness throughout the US”, said Patrick McAskin, Sales Director Americas, Zound Industries.

Roll out of the Marshall speaker range in BestBuy began on June 14, 2020.
